In this candid chat, Claire discusses her family ties to Liverpool, her mission to make the arts more inclusive, and how those values helped power the city’s success as the European Capital of Culture in 2008.

She also opens up about the high-stakes gamble of making Liverpool a host city for COVID-19 test events and the sleepless nights that sometimes come with leading from the front.

Southport town centre welcomes ten colourful bears, all inspired by the classic ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ children’s picture book.

Visitors can explore the town centre in search of the hand-painted sculptures, which feature unique designs from talented artists and illustrators.

The Bear Hunt trail is a free event and perfect for all ages. Complete questions at either seven or ten trail locations, using the trail map to guide you along the way.
