🌇 Something VERY special is taking shape on Liverpool’s waterfront, and we got a first look.
We recently spent time with Peel Waters Managing Director James Whittaker, who gave us a tour of Central Docks to show us the incredible transformation already underway and share his vision for what’s still to come.
As part of the Liverpool Waters regeneration, Central Docks is set to become a thriving new waterfront neighbourhood, featuring new homes, commercial and leisure spaces, community facilities and a stunning five-acre Central Park. Sitting alongside Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium and just a mile from the city centre, it’s a development that will help shape Liverpool’s future for generations.

Magic Weekend 2026 comes to Liverpool this weekend! 🤩🏉
Calling all rugby fans! Hill Dickinson Stadium is preparing to welcome one of the biggest events in the Rugby League calendar as Magic WKND makes its debut at Everton’s waterfront home.
Rugby League’s summer festival heads to Liverpool’s northern docks this weekend, bringing six huge Super League fixtures, thousands of supporters and a full weekend of sport, music and entertainment to the city.

Claire House Children’s Hospice is celebrating today after planning permission was granted for a new 24/7 hospice in Liverpool! 🫶
The plans would transform the charity’s West Derby site into a full children’s hospice, bringing vital care closer to home for hundreds of seriously ill babies, children and young adults across Liverpool and surrounding areas.
For many families, distance has long been one of the biggest barriers to accessing hospice care when they need it most. Long, exhausting journeys to the charity’s Wirral hospice have often meant families spending precious time travelling, rather than being together.
We caught up with David Pastor, CEO of Claire House Children’s Hospice, as well as members of the charity’s community to hear how this will transform their lives. 🩵
