This new exhibition is a must-visit! 😍

It’s 40 years since National Museums Liverpool was launched, and to celebrate it’s created an amazing exhibition with display items from each of its seven venues.

Founded in 1986, the formation of National Museums Liverpool marked a historic moment in the city’s history, bringing together its portfolio of internationally applauded Merseyside museums and galleries: Lady Lever Art Gallery, International Slavery Museum, Maritime Museum, Museum of Liverpool, Sudley House, Walker Art Gallery and World Museum.

Now, for the first time ever, it’s brought together incredible pieces from each of the venues under one roof in the must-see National Museums Liverpool at 40 Exhibition which is on at World Museum.

This time next week the circus will have arrived in Southport as The Big Top Festival launches 🥳🎪

Enjoy some of the best circus performers in the world on 2-3 May.

With incredible acrobatics, spellbinding live shows, the chance to learn your own circus skills and lots of people being very silly, this totally free event builds on Southport’s history as a renowned home for circus and clowning.

With shows happening across five different spaces in the town centre, audiences can pick and choose what they watch while exploring the shops, cafés and restaurants.

You don’t need a ticket — just grab your family and friends, find your funny bone and prepare to be dazzled!

Based on North Docks, Make CIC has been a real hub for creativity in the city for ten years now. 🎨

They say they’d like more support to keep that creativity flowing and more recognition of the role that independent businesses have played in establishing Ten Streets as a cultural hub.
